This Privacy Policy also applies when you access (in particular, in the browsing mode) the website www.meest-shop.com (in terms of the use of cookies), register and/or use your Meest China Shop Personal Account, as well as install and/or use the Mobile Application Meest China.
This Privacy Policy sets out how we use cookies.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before you:
1) start using the website www.meest-shop.com and/or access the website www.meest-shop.com, in particular, in the website browsing mode (including access via computer, mobile phone, other devices);
2) install and/or use the Mobile Application Meest China;
3) start using any of our Company's services, accept any of the public offer agreements available on the website www.meest-shop.com;
4) register and/or start using the Meest China Shop Personal Account.
By accepting (by making an acceptance) any public offer of the Company, namely the Public Offer Agreement (delivery organisation), the Public Offer Agreement (goods repurchase service), the Public Offer Agreement (commercial cargo for Ukraine), you confirm that you are fully aware of the provisions of this Privacy Policy, agree to it fully and unconditionally, and confirm that you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data.
By accessing the website www.meest-shop.com (in particular, in the browsing mode), installing and/or using the Mobile Application, registering and/or using the Meest China Shop Personal Account, you confirm that you are fully aware of the provisions of this Privacy Policy, agree to it fully and unconditionally and confirm that you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy (in whole or in part) and/or do not understand the content of the Privacy Policy (in whole or in part), you should not use/access (in particular, in the viewing mode) the website www.meest-shop.com, install and/or use the Mobile Application, register and/or use the Meest China Shop Personal Account, as well as accept any public offer agreement posted on the website www.meest-shop.com.
This Privacy Policy is subject, in particular, to the provisions of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC).
You have the full range of rights and means of exercising them set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), in particular:

We make all technical and organisational efforts to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorised disclosure, alteration (distortion), and improper use. We have implemented all necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure an adequate level of protection of your personal data. Your personal data is stored in secure networks and can be accessed only by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are obliged to keep confidential information.
We do not collect or process personal data that disclose racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or membership in trade unions, nor do we process genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of unified identification of an individual, data concerning the health status or data concerning the sex life of an individual or his or her sexual orientation. We also do not collect or process personal data on criminal convictions and criminal offences.

User: any person who visits the website www.meest-shop.com, including in the browsing mode.
Customer – a person who has reached the age of majority (18 years) and has accepted by acceptance the public offer(s) of the Company posted on the website www.meest-shop.com and/or in the Mobile Application and has a Meest China Shop Personal Account.
Shipment/Goods/Cargo – used in the meaning of the concepts set out in the Public Offer Agreement (delivery organisation), Public Offer Agreement (goods repurchase service), Public Offer Agreement (commercial cargo for Ukraine), which are available on the website www.meest-shop.com.
Section III. Processing of personal data
The Company processes personal data for the following purpose(s):
1) providing services to the Customers and fulfilling the Company's obligations under the service agreements accepted by the Customers, as well as resolving possible disputes arising from the fulfilment of such obligations;
2) marketing purposes;
3) improving the quality of the Company's services (in terms of recording telephone calls and registration/use of the Personal Account);
4) administration of our website (in terms of cookies).
In order to provide services to Customers, the Company processes the following data:
1) e-mail address, telephone number, surname, name and patronymic;
2) data of the recipient of the shipment - surname, name and patronymic, address of receipt of the Shipment/Goods/Cargo.
Provision of the said data is exclusively voluntary and is necessary for the Company to provide services and fulfil its obligations, which is a legitimate purpose (the Company's purpose).
Given that the specifics of the services provided by the Company depend on the data provided by the Customer, if the Customer refuses to provide the Company with the relevant data, the Company is unable to provide services to the Customer. In this case, any public offer agreement of the Company accepted by the Customer shall be deemed cancelled.
If the Customer prohibits the processing of the data already provided by him/her - withdrawal of the initial consent, the Company's services cannot be provided to the Customer, and the agreement(s) accepted by the Customer shall be deemed terminated without refund of any funds, compensation, damages, or losses paid by the Customer.

Responsibility for the correct collection of the recipient's data of the Shipment/Goods/Cargo (if different from the Customer's data), as well as for the consent of such recipient to provide them to the Company, lies solely with the Customer.
In order to improve the quality of your service, telephone conversations (both incoming and outgoing calls) are registered and recorded. Before the conversation begins, you are always provided with information about such recording orally. If you do not agree to such recording, please do not participate in such telephone conversations and contact the Company by e-mail and/or chat.
We register the following identification data of telephone calls:
1) start and end time of the call;
2) the subscriber's phone number;
3) type of call: incoming/outgoing;
4) name of the person authorised by the Company who conducted the call.
If you have given your consent, the telephone conversation will be recorded, and the storage period for such data is up to one (1) year from the date of recording. If you do not consent to the recording of a telephone conversation (even if it has started), the corresponding recording of the conversation will not be saved. The Company does not seek to store all records of telephone conversations, therefore, reserves the right to delete (destroy) the recording of a telephone conversation with you within a period of less than one (1) year from the date of recording.
The use of the Meest China Shop Personal Account involves the processing of personal data for the purpose of tracking Shipments (the shipment number is required to track the status of the shipment), tracking the status of the repurchase of Goods.
Communication with a consultant via chat, via e-mail may involve the processing of personal data regarding your e-mail; surname, name and patronymic; address; data of the recipient of the Shipment (if the shipment is sent by the Customer to another person); Shipment number; type of Goods, status of repurchase of the Goods.
During the registration of the Meest China Shop Personal Account, the Company processes the following data: email address, telephone number, surname, name, and patronymic. When you install the Mobile Application, Meest China processes the following data: email address, telephone number, surname, name, and patronymic.
The Company does not collect, store or process data on the Customers' bank cards, expiration dates of these cards, or CVV codes to these cards. All such data is collected, processed and stored in the payment systems used to pay for the Company's services. These payment systems have their own privacy policies and rules, which the Company advises you to read on the respective websites of these payment systems before making a payment and providing your bank card details.
Section IV.
Data retention period (term)
Your personal data retention period (term) is set solely for the purpose and expediency of their use. If the retention period (term) of such data is not set out in this Privacy Policy for specific data, the period of its retention is determined by the Company in accordance with the criteria set out below.
In any case, we strive to minimise the collection and storage of your personal data that we process and are guided by the principle of sufficiency and necessity in view of the purpose(s) of processing as defined in this Privacy Policy. We store data in a form, that allows for the identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of processing. This means, in particular, that your personal data may be deleted earlier than the retention periods specified in this Privacy Policy.
Criteria for determining the retention period (term) of your personal data:
1) provision of services. This is the period during which information (data) is required to provide services to the Customer and fulfil the Company's obligations;
2) claim period. The period during which the Company stores data, in particular, for the purpose of considering possible claims. This period is up to 3 (three) years;
3) organisational period. The period from the moment a person registers a Meest China Shop Personal Account on the website www.meest-shop.com until the data from the Meest China Shop Personal Account is blocked/terminated/deleted and/or until you delete (uninstall) the Meest China Mobile Application;
4) a reasonable marketing period. The period during which the Company may process your data for marketing purposes.
Section V. Data exchange
In order to provide the services stipulated by the public offer agreement(s), the Company has the right to transfer the Customer's data to third parties engaged by the Company to organise the provision of services to the Customer (in particular, contractors, postal services, logistics companies and logistics services, customs authorities, customs brokers, lawyers, attorneys, IT service providers). Such data shall include: surname, name, patronymic of the Customer, address, e-mail address, delivery address of the Goods/Cargo/Parcel, data of the recipient of the Goods/Cargo/Shipment (if the recipient is a person other than the Customer); shipment number; price of the Goods.
The Company also has the right to provide your data at the lawful request of law enforcement and other authorities authorised by law and only in cases and on the grounds expressly provided for by current legislation. In other cases, the Company refuses to provide your data.
In the event of an out-of-court dispute, the Company has the right to transfer your data to a lawyer or attorney. In the event of a legal dispute, the Company has the right to transfer your data to the judicial authorities, but in any case, the transfer of your data should be carried out in order to protect the rights and interests of the Company, as well as to settle disputes between the parties out of court.
Section VI. Transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area
Personal data is transferred to third countries if the services provided by the Company must also be performed in the territory of a third country, in particular, the transit of the Customer's Shipment through such countries, the repurchase of the Goods in the territory of the PRC, customs and other procedures established by law.
Personal data may also be transferred to subcontractors and organisations that provide tax, legal, audit, settlement consultations, brokerage and other services to the Company, if they operate in a third country.
Personal data is not transferred to international organisations or to any persons unless it is necessary for the Company to perform services.
In case you commit illegal actions by using the Company's services (in particular, sending/purchasing goods that are prohibited and/or sanctioned and/or contain symbols prohibited by law), we reserve the right to transfer your data to the relevant law enforcement agencies.
Section VIII. SMS and e-mail messages - marketing purposes
The Company may send you automatic text messages to your mobile phone number using automatic dialling technology. We may use SMS messages to inform you about our services, promotions and other opportunities, offers, as well as new features of the website. The Company may send you non-automatic and/or automatic email messages with certain offers. We may also send you emails with general information or special offers about products and services that may be of interest to you.
When sending such SMS messages and emails to you, the Company uses the data that you voluntarily provided when registering for your Meest China Shop Personal Account. Your consent to the sending of such messages is presumed when you register your Meest China Shop Personal Account. If you do not wish to receive such notifications, please send a corresponding letter to [email protected] or change the settings of your mailbox or mobile phone by yourself.
